| In una grande metropoli credo sia normale vedere cantieri all’opera. Roma spesso soffre però della sua eredità millenaria, e non sempre è facile avviare nuove opere. Ma negli ultimi anni le cose stanno cambiando. Oggi la città è praticamente invasa da nuovi cantieri dedicati a grandi opere. Uno di questi cantieri è quello della foto: la nuova Stazione ad Alta Velocità Roma Tiburtina. La struttura più evidente sarà un lungo (300 metri!) Boulevard sospeso sopra i binari. Il Boulevard servirà poi anche a riconnettere i due quartieri Nomentano e Pietralata, storicamente separati dalla ferrovia. Una volta ultimati i lavori, la Nuova Stazione Tiburtina diventerà la stazione ferroviaria principale di Roma, sostituendo la storica Stazione Termini. |
In a big metropolis I think it is normal to see shipyards under construction. But Rome often suffers its millenary heritage and is not always easy to initiate new works. Hoverer, in recent years, things are changing. Today the city is virtually invaded by new construction sites dedicated to great works. One of these sites is that in the photo: the new high-speed station Roma Tiburtina. The main structure will be a long (300 meters!) Boulevard suspended above the rails. The Boulevard will also reconnect the two neighborhoods Nomentano and Pietralata, historically separated by the railway. Once completed, the new Tiburtina station will become the main railway station of Rome, replacing the historic train station Termini. |
