Domenica 30 marzo sono andato con la famiglia e alcuni amici a fare un picnic al laghetto dell’EUR.
La scelta del luogo e della data non sono state occasionali…
Infatti proprio in quel periodo c’è la fioritura dei ciliegi. Presso il laghetto dell’EUR ci sono 2500 Sakura (ciliegi) donati dalla città di Tokyo e piantati in occasione dell’inaugurazione de “La Passeggiata del Giappone”, il 20 luglio del 1959. E come in Giappone, anche a Roma c’è la tradizione dell’Hanami (letteralmente “l’osservazione dei fiori”), durante al quale si fa un pic nic all’ombra di questi stupendi alberi. L’unica cosa che non avevamo era il tradizionale telo blu…. Camera: Nikon D5100 |
Sunday, March 30 I went with family and some friends to do a picnic to the EUR’s Lake.
The choice of the place and the date were not occasional … At EUR’s Lake there are 2500 Sakura (cherry blossom) donated by the city of Tokyo and planted on the occasion of inauguration of “Japan Rhine”, 20 July 1959. And, as in Japan, in Rome there is the tradition of Hanami (literally “flower viewing”), during which people make a picnic in the shade of these beautiful trees.
