A Roma, su via di Tor Tre Teste c’è un benzinaio che è impossibile non notare…
Non capita tutti i giorni di trovarsi un aereo militare “parcheggiato” in una stazione di servizio. Si tratta di un Fiat G91, un cacciabombardiere-ricognitore vincitore del concorso della NATO del 1953 per la produzione di un nuovo aereo leggero da supporto tattico. Oltre che dall’Aeronautica Militare Italiana, questo aereo è stato usato principalmente dalla Luftwaffe tedesca. Il G91 è famoso in Italia per essere stato a lungo il velivolo della pattuglia acrobatica nazionale Frecce Tricolori prima di essere sostituito dall’Aermacchi MB-339PAN. Nei 19 anni in cui è stato prodotto ne sono stati costruite 756 unità. |
